Denbercoat – white synthetic wood primer and mid layer for wooden doors, doorposts, wooden construction objects and frames and primer for walls before painting with Topcolour or Polydor.
Properties:
- Ready for use after mixing and dilution.
- Good adhesion to wood and mortar.
- Fill all wood and wall pores.
- Excellent primer before top synthetic paints.
- White easy to coat.
- Gives the white back ground needed to fluorescent and light emitting paints.
- Easy to apply.
- Good mechanical strength.
- Good exterior durability/
Applications:
- For painting walls in hospitals and public buildings before top coating with
- For painting wooden doors and windows and any other wooden objects.

Technical data:
- Consumption – 100-125 gr/m2
- Theoretical surface coverage – 1 liter to 8-10 m2
- Recommended number of layers – 1-3
- Recommended layer thickness – 35-45 mic. vertical, 40-65 mic. horizontal.
- % solids – > 65 %
- Flexibility – 1 mm (Sheen) stands in Israeli standard 935 chapter 307
- Density – 1.2-1.35 gr/cm3
- Viscosity – 1-2 Pa.sec (Haake)
- Hardness – >3Dg
- Durability in water immersion – no bubbles, no softening or adhesion loss

- Bleeding durability – not less than step 6 according ASTM D- 866 and ASTM D-969
- Erosion film 120 mic. – 650 cycles (BYK Gardener)
- Heat durability – 70 OC with no visible changes or deformation.

Final drying time:
- 24 hr. after 24 hr. can be sanded as preparation for top coating.
Implementing method:
- Brush, spray, roller, immersion.
Dilution:
- Brush/roller – 10-15% white spirt
- Spray – 15-25% D-18 thinner , 3-4 atm. Pressure.
- For spraying on new wooden objects or new walls – 15-20% D-18 thinner , 3-4 atm. Pressure
- Airless – 5-10% D-18 thinner, 5-6 atm. Pressure. nozzle 0.015”
Surface preparation:
- Removal of dust and grease until getting clean dry surface.
- New wood – sand with glass paper, vacuum the dust and spread 2 layers of deck oil’ after 48 hr. sand well and spread 2 layers of Denbercoat.
- Old painted wood – sand well for uniform matte surface, clean all dust and spread 1 layer of Denbercoat as a primer for top coating with Polydor or Topcolour.
- On concrete/mortar walls – first layer diluter 20-25% for impregnation, light sanding after dry and another layer after 2-24 hr.
Packing:
- 0.75 liter, 2.5 liter, 5 liter, 18 liter, 200 liter.
Storage:
- Store in well shaded place at room temp. with appropriate ventilation.
- Keep lids tightly sealed.
Shelf life:
- 12 months in original package.

Tools cleaning:
- At the end of the application, with thinner D-18 or Turpentine.

- In factory laboratories according to specifications.
