Silicon copolymer rust converter top coat paint. Decorative flate paint for embellishment of rusty metal surfaces. For direct painting on rusty surfaces with no primer needed and no strict surface preparation. Provides the painted surface rich industrial shape.

Technical data:

  • Theoretical surface coverage- 1 liter to 4-6 m 2, in two layers.
  • Consumption – 125 mic. wet paint leaves 25 mic. Dry film .
  • Recommended number of layers – 2
  • Layer thickness: 50-60 micron
  • Flexibility- 1 mm (SHEEN).
  • Viscosity – 1-2 Sec (HAAKE).
  • Density- 1-1.3 gr/cm 3•
  • Hardness – >3 Dg (Erichsen).

  • Solids (%)- 40% in aluminum shade, 55% in black shade.

Touch-Dry time:

  • < 30

Dry Between Layers:

  • 1 hours, Final: 24 hours in room temp.
  • Final – 7 days.

Implementing Method:

  • Brush, Spray, Roller.

Dilution:

  • Brush and roller- 10-15% Denber metal hit thinner D-51.
  • Spray-.25-35% Denber metal hit thinnerD-51 , 3-4 pressure.
  • Airless- 0-5% Denber metal hit thinner D-51, 5-6 pressure, 0.015″ nozzle.

Surface preparation:

  • Make sure that the surface clean of dust, dirt, grease and old loose paint.
  • Heavy rust layers and loose rusty parts should be removed and sand as possible.
  • As better the surface cleaning will be, the better adhesion we will get, the longer life time of the paint will be.

Packing:

  • 0.75, 2.5, 5 and 18 liters.

Primer paint:

  • Not needed
  • For non-ferrous metals- can be painted directly if adhesion is good. Good sanding requires.

Safety precautions:

  • Inedible, keep away from the reach of children.
  • Flammable – keep distant from heated areas, fires, flames, and sparks, Prohibit smoking in working area.
  • While applying, good air ventilation is important. In case there is not enough air, use ventilation according to the ventilation table.
  • Wear protective glasses, gloves and suits.
  • Avoid direct contact of the paint and/or thinner with the eyes and skin. In case of contact, immediately wash thoroughly with water.
  • In case of an injury immediately get doctors assistance.
