I.F.R 3 1 – SOLVENT IMPREGNATION FLAME  RETARDANT  (For wood,  carpet,  oily surfaces etc.)

Fire protection to wood, carpets, and other materials that can impregnate fully or partially. For impregnate, upgrade to inflammable according to the Israeli standards institute (755 level 4,5). Transparent liquid that doesn’t changes the natural texture that impregnate in infrastructure.

Properties:

  • Saturate flame retardants to flammable materials to reduce significantly to final the products flammability.
  • Upgrading products, improving the product’s fire resistance.
  • Marketing a final safe product (like: wood boards, carpets, toys etc.) instead of highly flammable product.
  • Significantly reduce in fire impacts.

 Applications:

  • Saturate of full wood, laminated wood, MDF and other wood products, even if they aren’t coated with linen oil layer.
  • Saturate carpets, leather, fabrics etc.
  • Parquet floors, wooden walls, boxes made of wood, wood ceilings, furniture, doors, lintels, banisters and more…
  • Wood playing constructions, wood fence, ornamental tree, public construction.
  • Adding to paints, glues, polyester, epoxy and more…

 Using instructions:

  •   Thorough cleaning of the surface, brushing/pouring/spraying/immersion of IFR 31 till sodden.
  •    Natural horizontal wood surfaces-Its allowed to split and wait to final absorb. The leftover can be brushed on other surfaces.
  •   On carpets- It’s allowed to spray until getting the whole carpet “humid”.
  •   On big walls- It’s allowed to spray with paint sprayer or airless until total wetting. This action has to be done at least two times.
  • Lintels, fences, doors etc. can be implemented with brush. This action must be repeated at least two more times.

Approximate Consumption:

  • Full wood- 4-7 m 2/liter, short hairy carpet- 3-4 m 2/liter.

Drying times:

  • IFR 31 for re coat- 6-8 hours, final- 24 hours.

  • 1, 5, 18 and 200 liters.

Storage:

  • Appropriate shaded room temp with proper ventilation.
  • Keep lids tightly closed.

Shelf Life:

  • 12 month in original sealed package.

Safety precautions:

  • Inedible, keep away from the reach of children.
  • Flammable – keep distant from heated areas, fires, flames, and sparks, Prohibit smoking in working area.
  • While applying, good air ventilation is important. In case there is not enough air, use ventilation according to the ventilation table.
  • Wear protective glasses, gloves and suits.
  • Avoid direct contact of the paint and/or thinner with the eyes and skin. In case of contact, immediately wash thoroughly with water.
  • In case of an injury immediately get doctors assistance.
  • Read the safety instructions on the labels.
