High temperature epoxy paint.
EPOXYDEN – PRIMER/TOP COAT 250°C High Temperature Epoxy Paint.
Special smooth decorative Epoxy paint, withstanding high temperatures, for industry and home use, for protection and coating of concrete and metal parts exposed to great heat. Most shades withstand up to 200°C and others, mostly the metallic shades withstand up to 250°C.

Properties:
- Outstanding adherence ability to rust free metals devoid of grease.
- Withstanding high temperatures up to 250°C according to shade.
- Is an outstanding primer and top, heat resistant and decorative.
- Flexible and quick drying.
- Humidity resistant and durable in diluted acids and alkali mixtures.
- High hardens, resistant to hits, shocks and vibration.
- Comes in some shades and various gloss levels.
- Easy to apply and does not require thinning.
Applications:
- For painting of iron and other hot metals after provided proper surface preparation prior to painting.
- For painting machines, light equipment, constructions in hot places, etc.
- For industrial heat developing equipment and diverse elements in the vicinity of this equipment.
- For painting metal sheet, iron and soldering constructions where machines and/or ovens develop high temperatures.
- For painting concrete and stone walls serving as ovens, or as protecting walls near ovens.
- Painting of concrete and steel ovens and chimneys, steam rooms and industrial spaces where steel and/or metals are cast.

Technical Data:
- Coverage area: 1 liter for 5-6m2 in two layers.
- Recommended layer thickness: 40-60 microns.
- Recommended number of layers: 2
- Flexibility: 1 mm (SHEEN).
- Density: 1.2-1.8 gr/cm3 (changes according to shade and gloss): Glossy: 1.2-1.3 gr/cm3, Silky 1.4-1.6 gr/cm3, Matte: 1.65-1.8 gr/cm3
- Part A viscosity: 2.5-3.5 Pa.sec (HAAKE).
- Hardness: > Dg 3 (Erickson)
- Mixing ratio: 1:1
- Adhesion to black metal: 160 kg/cm2
- 15 minutes waiting time before painting.
- Pot life: 6 hours.
- Flash point – 38°C.

Colors:
- 250°C resistant shades: silver, metallic red brown, metallic black, metallic mustard, metallic brown, green metallic oxide.

Gloss:
- Glossy, silky, matte.
Touch dry:
- 2-4 hours, hard and dry in 24 hours.
Dry between layers:
- 12-24 hours; final 3-5 days.
Application Methods:
- Brushing, rolling and spraying.
Thinning:
- D-4/100 thinner: 0-5% brushing/rolling.
- Spraying: 5-10% at 3-4 atm. pressure.
- Airless: 5% at 4-5 atm. pressure with 0.016” nozzle.
Surface Preparation:
- Iron sand blasting at grade: SA 2.5 (white iron).
- Concrete cleaning: grease/oils with degreaser M, or for soot and dry grease AL SHEMEN N and rinsing with water. New concrete has to be burnt with salt acid 30 days after casting.

High temperature epoxy paint.
Application instructions:
- Prepare site surface as required.
- Carefully open part A and part B.
- Mix carefully each part separately.
- Pour from each container volume of required quantity and mix well.
- Wait at least 15 minutes and mix again.
- Spray or spread an 80-100 microns wet thin layer, and over paint with another layer after 12 or 24 hours (for concrete, the first thinned layer acts as primer).
- It will be ready to use after 6-8 hours.
- The paint tools are to be properly cleaned at end of task with thinner D-4/100
Primer:
- For concrete the paint itself, in any shade 20-30% thinned (to obtain a deep penetration)
- For metal: metallic brown red color shades serve as anticorrosive coat. No need for thinning beyond thinning instructions.
Ventilation:
An amount of air is required to ventilate 1 liter of paint mix A+B:
- To obtain 10% of LEL = 65 m3•
- To obtain the TLV = 990m3•
Packaging:
- 1+1=2 liter, 2.5+2.5=5 liters, 5+5=10 liters, 18+18=36 liters .
Storage:
- At room temperature in protected place with proper ventilation.
- Keep lids tightly closed.

Shelf Life:
- 24 months in original packaging.
Tool Cleaning:
- With D-4/100 thinner immediately after ending painting.
