Polyurethane paint/lacquer fire retardant
Properties:
- Fire protecting coat.
- Fast drying, ready for recoating after 4-6 hour.
- Tough, scratch resistance.
- Good adhesion to metal, concrete, wood.
- Can be applied in some layers for thick coat.
- Suitable for welding.
- Prevent fire expansion and deject smoke.
- Washable and repulsive dust & dirt.
Applications:
- Metal, wood & concrete fire expansion preventing coat.
- Wooden floors, parquets.
- Wooden furniture’s.
- For immediate treatment in places where works with life fire or welding executed.
Technical Data:
- Theoretical spreading rate: 1 liter per 12-15 m 2·
- Theoretical coverage: 6-7 m2/liter for 150 mic. thickness layer.
- Recommended dry thickness: 75 mic.
- Recommended number of layers: min. 2
- Mixing rate a:b by volume: 2:1:1
- Density: 0.9-1.35 gm/cm 3 (DIN 51575)
- Hardness: >3 Dg (Erichsen)
- Elasticity: 1 mm (Sheen)
- Viscosity: 2-4 Pa.sec (Haake)
- Traction resistance: 3.2 N/mm 2 (DIN 53455)
- Adherence to steel: 215 kg/cm2

- Pot life: 4-6 hours at 20°c.

Touch-drying time:
- 60 minutes
Repainting Gap Time:
- 4-6 hours
Curing time:
- 24 hours
Recommended Application Methods:
- Spray, brush, roller.

Dilution:
- Spray gun- 25-35% thinner D-11 pressure 4-5 atm.
- Brush & airless- 5-10% D-11, input pressure 5-6 atm. Nozzle – 0.018″ output pressure 120-150 atm.
Surface Preparation:
- Non-ferrous metals – cleaned-dry, free of contamination. When exposed to condensation – surface must be swept.
- Suitable primer needed in some cases.
- Steel – sand blast to Sa-2.5, Swedish standard or sspc s-p 10 USA standard or DIN – 55928 chap. 4 German standard.
- Concrete – sand blast till the concrete is perfectly clean & the apertures / holes are open. Also recommended extra cleaning with diluted acid and water high pressure cleaning. (painting allowed 30 days after casting concrete)
- Wood – surface must be clean and dry. First coat of Denbergloss anti flame will function as primer. After sanding the dry primer it is ready for recoating.
Instruction For Use:
- Surface preparation as recommended.
- Open carefully parts a & b and stir separately well.
- Pour needed quantity ratio base to hardener 1:1.
- Blend well for homogenous mixture and add thinner D-11 as recommended.
- Blend again and spray first coat, after 4-6 hours minimum sand a little and spray second layer and etc.
Ventilation:
- For 1 liter of mixed paint: 1 . In order to reach 10% of LEL = 65m 3
- In order to reach the TLV = 990m 3
- For 1 liter of thinner D-11 1. In order to reach 10 % of LEL = l 84m 3
- In order to reach the TLV = 2125m 3

Kit Description:
- 5 liter part A + 2.5 liter part B + 2.5 liter part C
- 2.5 liter part A + 1.25 liter part B + 1.25 liter part C
Storage:
- In cool and shaded room in room temp. with appropriate ventilation.
- Keep lids hermetic closed.
Shelf Life:
- 12 months in original sealed package.
Clean Up:
- Clean with thinner D-11 immediately after complete painting.
Quality control:
- In factory laboratories according to specifications.
