Epoxyden Aqua Primer
Water based epoxy primer.
Matt finish. Resistant to bacteria and fungus. It is used as a priming coat which is highly recommended prior to installation of bitumen rolls and as a primer for waterproofing and insulating materials for walls, roofs, partitions and concrete slabs used as a base coat prior to applying the Epoxyden Aqua top coat or any other topcoat paint.
Properties:
- Very strong adhesion and impregnation on porous flooring or substrates. Ideally used as a primer in waterproofing and protective coating applications.
- Prevents mold, fungi, rotting and odors.
- Because of its water base, it is very user friendly.
- Anti – moisture.
- Washable and has a high resistance to scuffing and scratching.
- Superior adhesion in flooring and substrate coating applications.
- Available in clear/transparent and white and in several colors and shades.
Applications:
- Primer for waterproofing application of bitumen rolls, polyurethane, etc..
- Damp proofing for ceilings, partitions, wet rooms and bathrooms.
- Wall paint for operating rooms, hospitals and clinics, waiting rooms and others.
- Wall paint for animal housing such as chicken, cow sheds, and other animal related labs etc..
- Kindergartens, schools, and children rooms.

Technical Data:
- Coverage – 10 square meters per liter for 1 coat (5 square meters per liter for 2 coats)
- Flexibility – 1 mm (sheen)
- Density – 1.1-1.3 g\cm3
- Viscosity – 1000 – 3000 Pas.sec Brookfield
- Hardness – > 3 Dg Ericsson
- Abrasion – 940 cycles at 120 microns ( BYK Gardener ) ASTM .
- Abrasion resistance – minimum 200 cycles per Israeli specification of 1945.
- Percentage of homogeneous base 1:1 in size.
- The recommended thickness – 50-70 microns DFT (approximately 100 micron per layer WFT )
- The recommended number of coats-1-2 depending on application.

- Optimized Epoxy resin
- Fillers and pigments.

Colors:
- Transparent, white, or any color as per the color chart.
Gloss:
- Mat
Dry Time:
- Dry to touch in 1-2 hours.
- Dry time between coats 4 hours
- Final dry time 12-24 hours
Applications Methods :
- Brush, Roll, Airless Spray
Epoxyden Aqua Primer

Dilution: Dilute with water:
- First coat- 20-30%
- Second coat – 0-20%
Surface Preparation:
- A basic cleaning of dust , oils, dirt and paint.
- when resurfacing an external wall – wash with water pressure of 150 slowly
- Fill cracks well then sand until smooth. Clean dust before painting.
Priming:
- For indoor and outdoor wall coating – prime with Epoxyden Bacterinol prior to application.
Package:
- 5 +5 = 10L or 9+9=18L
Storage:
- Store in a cool , shaded area and at room temperature with proper ventilation.
- Keep lids tightly closed.
- Do not freeze
Shelf Life:
12 months in original sealed container
Cleaning:
- clean tools and hands with warm tap water and soap
Quality control:
- In factory laboratories according to specifications.
- COA and COC certificate.

Epoxyden Aqua Primer

Safety precautions:
- Inedible, keep away from the reach of children.
- While applying, good air ventilation is important. In case there is not enough air, use ventilation according to the ventilation table.
- Wear protective glasses, gloves and suits.
- Avoid direct contact of the paint and/or thinner with the eyes and skin. In case of contact, immediately wash thoroughly with water.
- In case of an injury immediately get doctors assistance.
- Read the safety instructions on the labels.

Warnings:
- Don’t mix the product with materials which were not recommended by us.
- Don’t apply if the temperature is under +7°C .
- Don’t apply if humidity is over 80%
- When applying with Airless, do not aim it at anybody a direct hit could be fatal at pressures over 150 atm.
