THERMOSEAL POLYFLEX 225 is a 100% solids polyurethane coating for a perfect sealing and thermal insulating floors of deep freezing & cooling rooms by creating a thin layer ( a few mm merely). Extra strong coating, abrasion resistant, flexible at least 150% elongation due to unique molecular structure which enables elongation and contraction according to the extreme temperature changes in deep freezing & cooling rooms of food industry etc. Provides excellent Thermal insulation without the need of a thick layer (only a few mm of coating is required). Strengthening the existing concrete and providing a smooth and super strong layer suitable for routine use in deep freezing & cooling rooms including for the use of forklifts trolleys etc. Sealing and bridging capillary cracks.

Properties:
- Flexible at least 150% elongation, bridging capillary cracks.
- Provides excellent sealing, repelling water/moisture and preventing the penetration through the concrete.
- Provides excellent thermal insulation by creating a thin layer of a few mm (without the need of a thick layer as required with mineral wool.)
- Strengthening the concrete infrastructure.
- Excellent adhesion ability to the surface which enables to form a thick coating in one casting. (up to 20cm)
- Dries fast, easy to apply.
- Flexible, serve as shock absorber.
- Suitable to apply in wet floors of deep freezing & cooling rooms.
- The coated surface is ready for repainting in the same day, or within on a few hours in summer time.
- The coated surface is smooth and washable but slippery when the floor is wet or greasy.
- By adding aggregates, while the casting, the slippery can be prevented.

- Needed quantity per sqm.: 100% solids amount of liters requires are the amount for casting. For example: 3 mm coat – 3 liter per sqm.
- Minimum thickness for cooling rooms: 3 mm
- Minimum thickness for freezing rooms: 5 mm
- Density: part A + part B: – 1.2 – 1.3 ,

- Stretch dexterity: 600kg per cm.
- Erosion endurance: 4500 cycle (grinder) ATSM, roll CS-17, 1kg load, 1000 cycles, Lose of 40miligrams, according to ASTM 4060 standard.
- Adhesion to concrete: stronger than the concrete.
- Adhesion to epoxyden floor primer – 245kg per cm2.
- Flexibility in drag – 10% N/mm² (DIN 53457)
- Drag resistance: 8 N/mm² (DIN 53455).
- Level of electric isolation: 15×10¹³ ohm per cm.
- Pot life: (Work time after ‘A’ + ‘B’ mixture): 60 minutes at 20°C
- Minimal dry time before use: at least 24 hours.
- Final dry time: 3-7 days.
- Ratio: 3:1 or 4:1
- Layer thickness recommended: as much as needed, not less than 200 mic.
- Number of layers recommended: one thick cast. In future if recoated needed – light sanding and new casting.

Touch-dry time:
- 3-6 hours at 25°C, final for walking – 24 hours. Final hardness: 7 days.
Wait time period between layer applications:
- 6-24 (figures change according to the temperature).
Ventilation:
- Does not contain any solvents so that a medium amount of air is required.

Application methods:
- Pour \ spread with roller and go over with stitches roller for take out the air..
Thinning:
- No thinning aloud.
Surface preparations:
- Concrete: sand thoroughly with diamond stones planetary motors with vacuum. Vacuum well and apply a primer coat. Epoxyden floor primer or on wet surfaces Epoxyden 450 primer.
- Renewal an old coad – sand completely, fix holes with polyflex schpachtel, spread Epoxden floor primer or 450 if wet concrete surfaces appears while sanding the surface.
- Build 45 degree rolka from this material plus aeroseal/caboseal where floor and walls contact to prevent penetration of water that while freezing will crack the floor and the coat. As water volume grows while freezing..
Instructions:
- Make sure that the base layer is dry, clean; dirt, dust and grease free.
- Open carefully ‘A’ +’B’ sections of the Thermoseal Polyflex 225A and pour at the ratio 3:1 the required amount according to the volume = surface calculation for double layer coating.
- Stir the mixture well with a slow mixer and immediately pour on the surface. With a large wiper spread the mixture evenly on the entire surface. For large surfaces a portable cement mixer could be used in order to make over 200 liters at once in case that the material could be spread on the entire surface with in 30 minutes, so it won’t harden and it won’t be possible to pout it while it is still liquid on the surface.
- After pouring go over while wet with stich roller to take out all the air and prevent bubbles.

Primer:
- For dry concrete – Epoxyden floor primer
- For wet concrete – Epoxyden floor primer 450
- After primer drying 6-24 hours – pour the Thermoseal polyflex 225 in desired thickness, spread with large tooth spatula and go over with stich roller.
Packaging:
- 4.5+13.5=18 liters.
Storage:
- Store in a shaded place, at a temperature of between 15°C-32°C. with appropriate ventilation.
- Keep lids sealed.
Shelf life span:
- Part A -24 months in its original package.
- The hardener (part b).– 12 months
Equipment cleaning:
- Use D-11 thinner immediately after applying.
Quality control:
- In factory laboratories according to specifications.
- COA and COC certificate.

Safety precautions:
- Inedible, keep away from the reach of children.
- Flammable – keep distant from heated areas, fires, flames, and sparks, Prohibit smoking in working area.
- While applying, good air ventilation is important. In case there is not enough air, use ventilation according to the ventilation table.
- Wear protective glasses, gloves and suits.
- Avoid direct contact of the paint and/or thinner with the eyes and skin. In case of contact, immediately wash thoroughly with water.
- In case of an injury immediately get doctors assistance.
