Epoxy glue for steel spikes www.denber-paints.co.il
Steel spikes – a powerful, thick, 100% solids, two-component red anticorrosive epoxy glue, for adding and completing vertical and horizontal construction. Odorless and solvent-free.
EPOXY GLUE FOR IRON THORNS – anti-corrosive red glue for gluing steel thorns to concrete in construction works.
Characteristics:
- Tremendous adhesion capacity of steel spikes to concrete.
- Anticorrosive prevents the development of rust in iron.
- 100% solids – does not contain water or thinners. does not shrink.
- Suitable for high endurance resistance to pressures and heavy loads.
- Easy to apply and dries quickly.
- Resistant to wet and humid conditions, resistant to chemicals and fuels and oils.
uses:
- Suitable for gluing steel spikes to concrete for building additions.
- For additions pouring concrete walls to connect to the floor and side walls.
- For additions, you built blocks to anchor the floor and walls.
- To continue casting columns in which no steel spikes were left.
- For strengthening buildings with the addition of column casting.
Technical data:
- Density -1.3-1.5 gm/cm 3 .
- Mixing ratio – 1:1 by volume {it is recommended to completely mix part A (in red color) with part B (in cloudy transparent color) to prevent mistakes in the mixing ratio to obtain a mixture with a uniform red shade}. The two parts must be thoroughly mixed to obtain an optimal result.
- solids – 100%
- Working time with the mixture (pot life) – 10-20 minutes at an ambient temperature of 20-30 degrees.
Anti-rust epoxy glue paste for gluing steel spikes to concrete
variety:
- Part A is red, part B – cloudy transparent, the mixture: red.
Touch drying :
- 2-4 hours in an ambient temperature of 25 degrees, hard final – 24 hours.
- Ready for immediate use, recommended after drying for 24 hours.
Application methods:
- Dip the steel spike in the well-mixed glue and insert it with pressure and knocks into the hole in the concrete.
Instructions for preparing the glue and application:
- Part A and Part B are supplied in separate containers.
- It is recommended to work with the glue at temperatures of 20-30 degrees. If it is colder – it is recommended to put the packages in the warehouse at room temperature. Or heat part A to 30 degrees to lower the viscosity and ease of application.
- Pour the contents of the containers into a larger container and stir well with a slow mechanical stirrer for 2-3 minutes to obtain a uniform solution. Imperfect mixing will not allow the material to dry and the spike will not stick to the concrete.
- Transfer the mixture to another container and stir garlic for 30 seconds.
- Dip spikes in glue while turning to completely cover the part of the spike inserted into the concrete.
- Press and rotate and hammer if necessary to insert the spike deep into the hole in the concrete until the end of the drilling. ( The material must not be used directly from the container in which it was mixed due to components remaining on the walls of the container that are not mixed at all and cannot dry due to this )
A+ B packaging :
- 0.5 + 0.5 = 1 liter
- 1 + 1 = 2 liters
