Epoxyden Glue  Abrasive Mortar – a powerful structural epoxy mortar, extremely thick, abrasion resistant, 100% solids, two components, for completing the structure of vertical and horizontal bodies. With ceramic epoxy/silicon carbide filling of metal parts that wear out during their continuous work. Suitable for coating and filling ferrous metal, aluminum and stainless steel parts that move and wear out during their continuous work. Odorless and solvent-free.

Characteristics:

  • Very strong adhesion to the coated surface.
  • 100% solids – does not contain water or thinners. does not shrink.
  • Suitable for continuous resistance to acids and bases in a hot atmosphere up to 120 degrees and in constant dry heat up to 150 degrees, resistant to momentary heat up to 250 degrees.
  • Provides protection against corrosion and erosion.
  • A very thick building material for processing with a plastic or other brush/putty.
  • High resistance to pressures and heavy loads.
  • Very shiny, extremely abrasion resistant.
  • Easy to apply and dries quickly.
  • Resistant to wet and humid conditions, resistant to chemicals and fuels and oils.

  • Suitable for strengthening rotating metal wings of various blades.
  • For coating and/or interior/exterior repair pipelines carrying liquids with hard and abrasive parts.
  • for plugging holes in the pipeline.
  • For coating digging drills.
  • For coating worn pump shafts.
  • To complete a metal body that wears or eats.
  • For finishing and smoothing iron castings after removal from the mold.

Constructive epoxy mortar for metals

Technical data:

  • Average consumption – 3 liters per 1 square meter for a 3 mm thick layer.
  • Density -2-2.2 gm/cm 3  .
  • Stiffness – 10 < Dg (Ericsson).
  • Salt chamber – 5000 hours ASTM B117
  • Mixing ratio – 1:1 by volume {it is recommended to completely mix part A (in white color) with part B (in black color) to prevent mistakes in the mixing ratio to obtain a uniform gray mixture}. The two parts must be well mixed for an optimal result.
  • solids – 100%
  • Recommended layer thickness – 4-6 mm vertical and no horizontal thickness limit.
  • Recommended number of layers – one thick layer. (You can add layers as needed)
  • Working time with the mixture (pot life) – 40-60 minutes at an ambient temperature of 20-30 degrees.
  • Shear strength – 20MPa (ASTM D 1002 Tensile shear adhesion (2,860 psi)
  • Bending resistance – Mpa 40 ASTM D790 (5,720 psi)
  • Modulus of elasticity – 450Mpa ASTM D790 (64,350 psi)
  • Tensile strength – 32Mpa ASTM D638 (4,576 psi)
  • Adhesion to steel infrastructure after sand cleaning – 6.1Mpa ASTM D 4541 (872 psi)
  • Adhesion to concrete – 2.7Mpa ASTM D 4541 (386 psi)
  • Compressive strength – 145Mpa ASTM D695 (20,735 psi)
