Phenolic primer & middle layer, Fast drying

Phenolic paint, Resistant to acids, Salts, Corrosive chemicals and alkali environment. Used as a primer and middle coat that on top of it a layer of 3309 from the same family can be implemented, and an excellent phenolic layer is created. This layer is resistant to very tough conditions, in chemical, acidic and alkaline environment.

Implementing Method:

Brush, Spray,

Dilution:

Brush – 5% mineral Turpentine.
Spray- 10-15% D-18 Thinner, 3-4 pressure.
Airless- 5-10% D-18 Thinner, 5-6 pressure, nozzle 0.018″.

Surface preparation:

Mechanical or chemical cleaning until getting white metal.
Mechanical- Steel
Chemical- Rust- Degreaser 3000, Grease- Degreaser MC.
Sand cleaning- Level 2.SA.

Primer Paint:

Denberust 3309 can be used as a primer.
Tutgum zincchromet is recommending (13HB).

Packing:

5 and 18 liters.

Storage:

Store in well shaded place, room temp with appropriate ventilation.
Keep lid hermetically sealed.

Shelf Life:

12 months in original package.

Tools Cleaning:

At the end of the application with D-18 Thinner or Mineral Turpentine.
Keep lid tightly closed.

Safety precautions:

Inedible, keep away from the reach of children.
Flammable – keep distant from heated areas, fires, flames, and sparks, Prohibit smoking in working area.
While applying, good air ventilation is important. In case there is not enough air, use ventilation according to the ventilation table.
Wear protective glasses, gloves and suits.
Avoid direct contact of the paint and/or thinner with the eyes and skin. In case of contact, immediately wash thoroughly with water.
In case of an injury immediately get doctors assistance.
