Hard, multi-solid, UV- resistant   two-component top polyurethane paint  , for durability in particularly difficult conditions, especially suitable as a top paint for airplanes.

Hard top polyurethane paint in a selection of shades, glossy/matte/silky, decorative smooth and durable for coating all types of aircraft, for firm resistance to mechanical and chemical wear and particularly harsh climatic conditions. Very smooth, dust repellent, can be applied in several layers. Does not fade even with long exposure to the sun.

Characteristics:

• Does not contain cadmium, and contains up to 06% lead. Does not contain chromates.
• Type I contains up to 420 grams per liter of thinners
• Type II contains up to 340 grams per liter of thinners.
• Resistant to rainwater erosion.

• As an upper layer for planes – transport and passenger planes, fighter planes and helicopters.
• For painting aviation accessories and parts and ground equipment.

Technical data:

• Part A – can be mixed by hand easily and after 5 minutes you will get a uniform and smooth solution.
• Part B – will be transparent and clear.
• Storage durability – 24 hours at 57 ⁰  without separation and spoilage,
• Theoretical coverage – 1 liter per 10-15 square meters.
• Hiding ability – all colors < 95 except yellow < 0.9 in a dry layer of 58 microns
• Recommended layer thickness 40-50 dry microns.
• Recommended wet layer thickness – 80-100 microns.
• Flexibility – 1 mm (sheen)
• Density – 1.1-1.3 gm/cm ³   (varnish 0.9 colors up to 1.3)
• Average viscosity A+B– 1-2 sec
• Viscosity of glossy colors B+A – 17-23 seconds in 2 # (<95 Krebs)

• Durability time of diluted paint in the package – 6 hours (viscosity increase no more than 6 seconds from original viscosity)
• Grinding minutes – glossy 7 > Hagman, matte 5 > Hagman
• Shine at 60 ⁰  – shiny 80% <, silk 15-45%, matte 5% >
• Shade changes are allowed – delta E – 1.0 >
• Solid % – glossy < 52%, matte and silky < 45%, marking and transparent colors < 35%.
• The tourism test under accelerated conditions for the varnish that is the basis for this product: 1,000 hours in a Q-Pannel with a UVA-340 lamp in cycles of 8 hours of light at a temperature of 60 0 ^and  4 hours at a temperature of 50 ⁰  , the varnish passed the test successfully with minimal color changes and without any Damage to the mechanical properties.
• This test was conducted at the Ministry of Defense – Materials Laboratory and is attached to this specification.
