Characteristics:
- Ready to use. For painting on epoxy primer primer for concrete and fiber and wash primer primer for aluminum.
- Flexible and strong, decorative in several shades in addition to standard blue.
- Excellent adhesion to the corresponding primary colors.
- Easy to apply with a brush/roller/spray.
- Dries quickly.
- Ability to resist standing water and under pressure created by deep water load.
- Excellent sealer.
- Flexible and does not crack in summer temperature changes between day and night in direct exposure to the sun.
- Can be applied in any weather except rainy days.
- Resistant to chlorine except for the fading of the pigment tone caused by its attack due to excessive concentration of chlorine in the water.
- Non-toxic and does not emit toxins, suitable for human contact and non-toxic when drinking pool water. Can be painted over with blue epoxy approved for drinking water by the Israeli Standards Institute.
Uses:
- For painting and sealing concrete water reservoirs for irrigation.
- For sealing fish ponds of all kinds and water reservoirs.
Technical data:
- Approximate consumption – 1 liter per 5 square meters. In two layers.
- Flexibility – 1 mm (sheen) passes the test of Israeli standard 935 section 307.
- Grinding minutes – up to 50 microns (Ti 785 part 15 – up to 60 microns).
- Density – 1.10-1.35 gm/cm 3 .
- Resistance to immersion in water – no bubbles, no softening, no change in adhesion, (TI 935 section 312).
- Resistance to “sweating” (bleeding) – not less than level 6 according to ASTM D-868 and ASTM D-969 Resistance to solvents and fuels – resistant according to ASTM D-2792-93.
- Viscosity -0.5-1.5 sec (HAAKE), 12,000 CPS (Brookfield)
- Stiffness – >10 Dg (Ericsson).
- Tensile strength – 75 kg per square meter.
- Abrasion – 120 microns – 1050 cycles (Gardner) ASTM, American standard ASTM D4060 dry film thickness 200 microns, weight loss – 2 grams per 500 cycles (standard – up to 5 grams authorized loss).
- Heat resistance up to 70 degrees Celsius without change in properties and deformation.
- Recommended number of layers – 2-3.
- UV resistance – 12 months when exposed to the sun.
- Elongation before weathering – up to 250%
- Temperature resistance – O C60+ to O C60-
- Resistance to water pressure – 4 atmospheres

Color:
- Standard light blue, ocean blue
Glass:
- Matte – silk.
Dilution:
- Brushing – 5-10% thinner D-32
- Spraying – 10-30% thinner D-32 pressure 3-4 atm.
- Airless – 5-10% thinner D-32 pressure 5-6 atm nozzle “0.015
- In winter when it is cold, you can use D-18 thinner which dries faster.
Area preparation and recommendation for application:
- Thorough cleaning of dust, grease, dirt, sand cleaning and mechanical grinding until perfect cleaning is recommended.
- Clean and dry conditions must be observed to obtain correct results.
- After cleaning – careful vacuuming of all the dust with an industrial vacuum cleaner.
- For concrete and fiberglass pools – 2 layers of primer “Epoxydan Fluor Primer” by spray or roller, minimal waiting time between layers (drying to the touch without fingerprint marks)
- If putty repairs are to be made – epoxy putty should be used after the first primer layer, and within 24 hours paint the second primer layer.
