DENWAY AQUA ACRYLIC – WATER BASE ROAD MARKING PAINT
White color and shades for marking roads and sidewalks, for asphalt and concrete in standard shades resistant to harsh climate conditions. Suitable for the movement of many vehicles day and night. Stands out from a distance during the day and at night with the help of glass balls scattered on its surface while wet, creates a reflection of light for a long distance. The paint is diluted with water, an extremely strong paint with a unique chemical structure. Adheres well to the existing infrastructure and gives a very strong white/yellow/blue/black/red/orange smooth layer.
Characteristics:
- “Green” color without thinners.
- Striking color and visible from a long distance, resistant to outdoor conditions.
- Flexible and hard at the same time. Penetrates deep and fills grooves and cracks in asphalt and concrete.
- Perfectly resistant to water, suitable for winter and heavy rains, does not fall apart.
- Excellent adhesion to the infrastructure.
- The strength of its adhesion allows coating with glass balls.
- Easy to apply and dries quickly.
- Resistant to abrasion and scratches and the heat of the asphalt in the summer.
- Resistant to fuels and oils.
- Quick drying, ready for repainting and/or coating on the same day and even within a few hours in the summer if necessary. Its quick drying allows the opening of a road in up to 30 minutes.

Technical data:
- Theoretical coverage – 1 liter per 10 square meters.
- Consumption for a new road – 1 liter per 1.3-2.0 m2 depending on the type of asphalt
- Consumption for painting over old paint – 1 liter per 2 square meters
- % solids by volume – 70% (T.I. 785 part 17).
- Density – 1.45-1.6 gm/cm 3
- Abrasion – 120 microns – 1050 cycles (Gardner) ASTM, American standard ASTM D4060 dry film thickness 200 microns, weight loss – 2 grams per 500 cycles (standard – up to 2.5 grams authorized loss)
- Recommended minimum layer thickness – 500 wet microns. The thickness was tested correctly – 720 grams per square meter.
- Recommended number of layers – 1
- Recommended amount of glass balls – 400 grams per square meter swarco/sovitec.

- White, yellow, orange, blue, red, black.
Gloss:
- matte up to 18%
Touch drying :
- 15 minutes. (Due to the quick drying, avoid overspray “dust” during spraying), drying time on a wheel – (T.I. 935 Section 304 Amendment No. 2) – up to 45 minutes
Road opening times for traffic:
- In the summer – 30 minutes. and
- In winter – 45 minutes. and
Application methods:
- Spraying, rolling, brushing. and
Dilution:
- Brushing/rolling – 0-5% water and
- Spraying – 5-20% water, 3-4 atm pressure
- Airless – 0-5% water, nozzle “0.018 – for a thin layer. nozzle “0.021 – for a thick layer. and
