Water-based acrylic paint for painting glass

GLASS COAT AQUA – FLEX XK90 acrylic  polyurethane  water base translucent/tinted paint for glass

Characteristics:

• Excellent adhesion to glass.
• In shades resistant to the sun and outdoor conditions.
• Green product – one-component water color easy to apply.
• Economical, for painting in a thin layer

Uses:

• For painting glass items for decoration.
• for painting vintage glass
• and for exterior painting of car windows to create a dark layer that blocks light rays.

• Effective coverage – 1 liter per – 8-10 square meters.
• Flexibility – 1 mm (sheen)
• Density – 1.0-1.2 gm/cm3
• Viscosity – 1000-3000 Pa.s (Brookfield)
• Stiffness – 10 Dg < (Ericsson)
• Abrasion – 120 microns – 1450 cycles (Gardner) ASTM
• Recommended layer thickness – 125-150 wet microns.
• Recommended number of layers – 1-2

Water-based acrylic paint for painting glass

Containing:

• High-quality acrylic polyurethane emulsion resistant to extreme outdoor conditions.

• Melanins, opaque color pigments.
• Pigments T. Transparent iron for non-opaque transparent shades.
• Special plasticizers.
• additives.

Color:

• Clear
• Opaque shades
• Semi-transparent shades

Gloss:

• Shiny/silky.

Touch drying :

• 60 minutes. (Due to the quick drying, avoid overspray “dust” when spraying)
• If “dust” is formed during spraying, retarder should be added and air pressure to the sprayer should be reduced.

Drying between layers:

• 6-8 hours. Final: 24 hours.

Application methods:

• Brushing, rolling, spraying.
• It is recommended to spray at a pressure of 5 atm.

Dilution:

• water.
• Brushing/rolling – 10-20%
• Spraying – first layer 30% second layer – 5%.

Area preparation:

• Thorough cleaning of dust, grease, dirt and loose paint.
• Rubbing with glass wool to remove grains and blowing with air pressure.

Primary color:

• the color itself

Packing:

• 5 liters, 18 liters.

Storage:

• In a cool and shady place at room temperature.

Shelf Life:

• 12 months in the original packaging.

Cleaning tools:

• Soap and water after painting.

Safety:

• Not for food, keep out of reach of children. and
• Ensure adequate ventilation during application. and
• Wear safety glasses, solvent-resistant gloves, protective clothing. and
• In case of injury – seek medical attention immediately. and

Warning:

• Do not mix with materials not recommended by us. and
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes, causes dryness and skin irritation. In case of contact, wash with plenty of running water and seek medical attention.
