Characteristics:

  • Resistant to high heat 540 degrees.
  • A perfect conductor of electricity.
  • Quick drying top paint.
  • Resistant to humid environmental conditions.
  • Easy to apply. Dries on its own at ambient temperature.
  • Economical – in extremely thin layers. High coverage area.
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
  • High adhesion to the infrastructure.

Uses:

  • Electrically conductive paint for elements in a particularly hot environment.
  • For application in hot electronic systems or in a hot environment.
  • For power transmission, command and control in circuits with heat sinks that emit high heat.
  • for static electricity grounding.

Technical data:

  • Theoretical coverage – 1 liter per 8 square meters on a smooth surface.
  • Consumption – 125 microns wet leaving 25 microns dry.
  • Flexibility – 3 mm (sheen).
  • Density – 1.2-1.3 gm/cm 3  .
  • Viscosity – 2,000 cps (Brookfield).
  • Stiffness – 3 Dg < (Ericsson).
  • Abrasion – 40 microns – 1560 cycles (Gardner) ASTM.
  • Heat resistance –  O C540 (ASTM D2485-91).
  • Recommended layer thickness – 90 dry microns.
  • Recommended number of layers – 1-2

Pure silver paint perfectly conducts electricity stands to high temperature up to 540 degrees.

Electrical data:

  • Surface resistance – 0-6 ohm ASTM F 150-89

 Containing:

  • Organic resin and special silicones.
  • pure silver
  • Special plasticizers.
  • Solvents, additives.

Color:

  • Silver gold

Gloss:

  • silk.

Touch drying :

  • 1-2 hours.

Drying between layers:

  • 6 hours. Final: 24 hours at room temperature.

Application methods:

  • Brushing, rolling, spraying.
  • First layer – recommended by spraying pressure 5 atm.
  • Second layer – in a roll.

If the paint is not applied uniformly due to too high surface tension of a previous layer, and crystallizes into drops like “mercury”, apply as it is and after 60 seconds reapply until a uniform surface is obtained.

Dilution:

  • D-32 thinner.
  • Brushing/rolling – 5%
  • The splash – 5-10%.
  • Airless – 0-5%

Area preparation:

  • Thorough cleaning of dust, grease, dirt and loose paint.
  • To renew the top color – light rubbing with glass wool to remove grains and blowing with air pressure.
