Tutgum-Roof  solvent sealing paint  for walls and roofs build from insulated pannels. Thick paint, solvent acrylic and chlorinated rubber, penetrating and sealing, for direct painting on an exposed concrete roof. Resistant to standing water. Easy to apply, quick drying. White prevents the roof from heating up. Seals effectively and prevents water from passing immediately. Resistant to extreme temperatures and snow piled up on the roof must be applied in two layers with a mop, roller or spray. Strong and abrasion resistant. In Ekarstein and terracotta shades for painting tile roofs, Iskurit and insulated panel.

Characteristics:

  • Ready to use. Flexible and strong.
  • Fast drying ready in two hours for painting another layer.
  • Excellent adhesion to concrete, sheet metal and existing paint.
  • Can be applied in one layer of 125 microns dry in each spray.
  • Easy to apply with brush, spray, roller.
  • Resistant to wet and salty atmosphere.
  • Resistant to abnormal temperatures of deep freeze and high heat.
  • Suitable for roof coating resistance.
  • White and reflects 85% of the sun’s heat and significantly reduces heat transfer to the floor below.
  • Tile sealant and water-absorbing tile joints.
  • Suitable for painting on an insulated panel and shingles.

Uses:

  • Protective paint and sealing for concrete roof surfaces, Iskurit, insulated panel and tiles.

Technical data:

  • Consumption – 200-250 grams per square meter per layer depending on the absorption level of the infrastructure.
  • Resistance to immersion in water – no bubbles, no softening, no change in adhesion, (TI 935 section 312)
  • Stiffness – >10 Dg (Ericsson)
  • Abrasion – 120 microns – 1050 cycles (Gardner) ASTM, American standard ASTM D4060 dry film thickness 200 microns, weight loss – 2 grams per 500 cycles (standard – up to 2.5 grams authorized loss)
  • Peeling strength – minimum 5 kg per square meter.
  • Heat resistance up to 70 degrees Celsius without change in properties and deformation.
  • Recommended layer thickness – 250-200 wet microns.
  • Recommended number of layers – at least 2

Color:

  • Standard white for roofs.
  • blue.
  • Red/grey Eckerstein and orange terracotta for tiles.

Gloss:

  • Matte up to 18%, silk 30-45%, glossy 80-95% (T.I. 935 section 309).

Touch drying :

  • 15-25 minutes.

Between layers:

  • 2-4 hours, final: 6 hours.

Application methods:

  • Mix lightly, dilute as needed and spread or spray.
  • Roller resistant to thinners.

Dilution:

  • Can be thinned a little with thinner D-18 for spraying or D-32 for application.
  • Airless – 5-10% thinner D-21 pressure 5-6 atm nozzle 0.021″

Area preparation:

  • Thorough cleaning of dust, grease, dirt, washing with degreaser Z is recommended to remove grease if any, to ensure the cleanliness of the surface before painting. Rust can be removed with rust remover 3000, grease from chimneys on panel roofs with degreaser M,

Packing:

  • 5 liters, 18 liters.
