Light blue epoxy base and top in shades, two-component, smooth and decorative, free of lead and chromates for painting and renovating Intex pools. Suitable as foundation and top.

An easy-to-apply colored epoxy base and top paint, suitable for Intex fresh water pools with low chlorine content and limited pollutants. Extremely strong and flexible, conforms to requirements for durability under fresh water under long exposure to the sun, manufactured in accordance with the requirements of no zinc and chromate content and   complete non-toxicity, suitable for drinking water as epoxide  HB19  (2300), which is tested according to the Israeli standard of the Standards Institute, approved by  laboratories abroad for resistance to water Drinking as well as approval of the Israeli Standards Institute No. 8412234992.

Intex epoxy pool paint and fish pond paint – extremely strong and flexible, which allows repainting in additional layers with an unlimited time window, the paint creates a strong base layer with extremely high adhesion, is also used as a bridging layer on an old paint before painting with this color as a top paint.

Technical data:

  • Coverage – 1 liter per 10 square meters in a layer of 50 dry microns.
  • Flexibility – 1 mm (sheen)
  • Recommended layer thickness – 125 microns wet. 50-80 microns dry (minimum values)

  • Hard drying time – 4 hours.
  • Pot life (working time from the moment of mixing A with B) – 4 hours.

Area preparation:

  • Thorough cleaning of dust, grease, dirt and loose paint. Polish to remove any scale and dirt. Go over with a cloth dipped in acetone before painting. and
  • Old paint – rubbing with sandpaper and removing grains: blowing with air pressure and cleaning with a cloth dipped in thinner. and
  • New – fiberglass or concrete fish pond – scrubbing and grinding, thorough vacuuming, cleaning with thinner and painting directly 2 layers. and

Flexible epoxy suitable for Intex

User manual:

  • Carefully open parts A and B and mix well separately. and
  • Mix the required amount of the two parts in the appropriate ratio and stir well
  • Wait 10 minutes and stir again while adding thinner as needed. and
  • Paint with a roller or brush or pour into the painting equipment and spray a thin and uniform layer to get at least 50-80 microns dry thickness. If necessary, if the layer is uneven or the part is not completely painted, wait about 4 hours (up to 12 hours if it has not dried completely, otherwise you will get a shrunken layer) and spray another layer. and

  • 1+0.4=1.4 liters, 3.6+1.4= 5 liters, 13+5 = 18 liters. and
