Basic and top decorative synthetic paint in a bright zinc silver shade for painting on welds in new galvanized iron, for a silver aesthetic appearance as a continuous continuation of the original shade of the hot zinc on the galvanized iron and for cathodic protection and a zinc sequence to prevent the development of rust in the welding area prone to rapid rusting after welding. Suitable for the requirements of TI 756,

Topcolour silverish zinc – synthetic high gloss paint, for painting on welding areas on newly galvanized steel

Characteristics:

  • Ready to use after dilution and mixing.
  • Can be used as a top paint for galvanized surfaces and especially after welding on the welding surfaces as a base and top paint.
  • Decorative in a silver shade that is very similar to a new galvanized shade.
  • Very shiny and very washable.
  • Easy to apply by any means possible.
  • Reasonable mechanical strength.
  • Excellent resistance to outdoor conditions, UV resistance
  • Excellent adhesion for welding on galvanized iron.
  • Contains zinc which provides zinc continuity to welding surfaces and thus cathodic protection against rust.

uses:

  • For painting welds in galvanized iron.
  • For painting “bald spots” and defects in galvanization in galvanized tin.
  • And for galvanized painting: bars, railings, fences, electricity and lighting poles, galvanized steel building constructions.

  • Coverage – 1 liter per 8-10 square meters)
  • Recommended layer thickness – 125 microns wet.
  • Recommended number of layers – 1-3 for perfect coverage and zinc thickness for proper protection.
  • Density – 1.20-1.25gm/cm 3
  • % solids by volume – 50% <
  • Brightness 80-85%

  • Silver.

Gloss:

  • Glossy.

Touch drying :

  • 2-4 hours.

Drying between layers:

  • 16 hours. Final: 24 hours

Application methods:

  • Brushing, rolling, spraying, dipping.

Dilution:

  • Brushing/rolling – 5-10% mineral turpentine
  • Spraying – 12-30% thinner D-18 pressure 3-4 atm.
  • Airless – 5-10% thinner D-18 pressure 5-6 atm nozzle “0.015
  • Immersion – 60-80% mineral turpentine and constant stirring of the mixture to prevent zinc sedimentation.

Area preparation:

  • Thorough cleaning of dust, grease, dirt, and
  • Welding – mechanical polishing to white metal and painting in this color up to 3 layers and
  • Galvanized tin – polishing with glass or mechanical sandpaper, cleaning with degreaser M, and painting with this color. and

Primary color:

  • The paint itself or any other anticorrosive base paint. and

Packing:

  • 0.75 liters, 2.5 liters, 5 liters, 18 liters. and
