Sealing water reservoirs Polyplex membrane 225A

Polyurethane rubber for sealing coating for water reservoirs

Sealing water reservoirs Membrane Polyplex 225A –  a thick elastomeric polyurethane membrane for sealing reservoirs and pools. Two-component polyurethane coating, 100% solids, 150% elongation, thick and strong, for coating water reservoirs and storage pools, for perfect sealing and preventing the complete passage of water.

Polyplex A225 for sealing reservoirs – a unique coating of an extremely strong flexible membrane, the wear-resistant coating with a unique molecular structure that has an extremely high amount of chemical bonds that creates an impenetrable chemical matrix, which completely seals against the passage of gases and water and allows for elongation and contraction according to temperature changes. Strengthens the existing infrastructure and gives a smooth, washable and very strong layer suitable for regular use including resistance to the loads and pressures of huge amounts of water. Seals and bridges across capillary cracks. In the gas industries, it is used as a sealing material for containers from the inside and outside to prevent gas leakage.

Passed gas tightness tests at the Proton Institute, test report No. 2116  RFT –  attached to this specification.

Characteristics:

  • Covers reservoirs and water tanks of all kinds and seals hermetically that prevents water from passing through.
  • 100% solids, does not contain solvents/thinners, can be applied in closed places without odor and without solvents in the air.
  • Flexible extends by  at least 150%  and bridges capillary cracks.
  • Strengthens any cement infrastructure.
  • Suitable for internal and external coating. When exposed to the sun, add a protective layer “Denbergloss Acrylic”.
  • The strength of its adhesion allows a multi-thickness coating in one thick casting from 0.5 mm on walls to 5 mm and more on concrete/fiberglass and steel floors.
  • Resistant to blows and scratches and heavy loads.
  • Resistant to heat up to 100 degrees and cold to minus 50 degrees.
  • Hard to tear and easy to repair in case of damage.
