Polyplex Sport flexible polyurethane coating for abrasion-resistant floors.

Polyplex Sport for coating the floor of sports halls and gyms – for sports-for industry polyurethane coating.

Polyplex Sports sports hall floor coating  , conforms to European standard EN 14904 (formerly DIN 18032) 

Self-leveling for covering sports halls ,  outdoor sports fields, roller rinks, squash halls, concrete or asphalt.

Two-component polyurethane coating 100% solids 150% elongation, thick and strong for coating sports hall floors and asphalt and concrete surfaces of all kinds for ball games and sports and for coating and filling cracks in asphalt sports fields as well as in concrete fields. Resistant to deep freezing temperatures and unlimited thawing. 

Conforms to European anti-slip standard EN14904

Characteristics:

• Abrasion resistant for many years. Suitable for skates and many sports.
• The strength of its adhesion allows multi-thickness coating in one thick casting from 0.5 mm to 8 mm.
• For sports halls, 2 mm on a 5-8 mm glued rubber layer. For coating directly on the infrastructure without rubber – 3-4 mm.
• Shock absorber from falling during use.
• 100% solids without diluents and odorless.
• Flexible and absorbs shocks and hard and violent mechanical blows and is suitable as a shock absorber to prevent severe injury during a fall in floor gymnastics or ball games.
• In sports halls – to prevent slipping, a layer of “Denbergloss Clear Matt” should be added.
• You can add a top layer with an orange peel texture to prevent slipping.
• For surfaces  exposed to the sun  , add a thin protective layer of paint/varnish “Denbergloss Flor Upper”

Uses:

• Floor coating of sports halls for ball games, ballet, dances, sports.
• Outdoor and indoor skating rinks.
• Indoor and outdoor courts for ball games.
• Thick coating in one casting of sports fields and halls.
• A three-layer coating for skating rinks in the sun includes a suitable base, a thick sports polyplex middle and a thin UV-resistant top for protection.

Technical data:

• Sports hall floor covering on 5 mm rubber – 2 liters per square meter
• Theoretical coverage for asphalt – 1 liter per 2 square meters on a smooth surface with a thickness of 500 microns.
• Recommended minimum layer thickness for skates and/or car parking -0 150 microns. and up to 3 mm for durability requirements for at least 3 years.
• Elongation – 150% <
• Stiffness -10 Dg (Ericsson).

• Hardness – 45-50 SHOR D
• Adhesion capacity – 620 kg/cm2.
• Abrasion resistance – 1000 cycles with a 1 kg weight – loss >80 milligrams. EN ISO 5470-1
• Wear test for the top varnish – as above with a 500 gram weight.
• Mixing ratio – 3:1
• Grinding – 120 microns – 4500 cycles
• Friction – Friction test – EN 13036-4 Pendulum pendulum result 80-110
• Impact resistance – shock absorption EN 14808 reduction of strength 25-75% at least.
