A SPECIAL ANTICORROSIVE TWO COMPONENTS PRIMER PAINT, BASED ON UNORGANIC ZINC SILICATE, TO FORM A PROTECTIVE CATHODIC LAYER ON METAL WITH COLD GALVANIZATION EFFECT WHICH PREVENTING RUST & CORROSION. USEFUL IN HIGH TEMPERATURE (UP TO 540°C).

Quality primer paint with an effect of cold galvanization, which ALUMA SILICON paint may be painted as a top layer on it and together to form a special anticorrosive system, which provides hot temperatures resistance as well as resistance for acid or alkali conditions. The Zinc Silicate may be painted over in colors with top paint such as Epoxyden of Denber (up to 250°C) or Siliciton of Denber (up to 960°C).

Properties:

  • Quick drying, ready in 24 hours for re-coating.
  • Outstanding adherence ability to iron and concrete.
  • Prevents rust development and offers a good cathodic protection.
  • It may be applied dry in one layer of 75 microns thickness, and 135 microns thickness wet layer.
  • Serves as protective paint for active heating systems up to 540°C.
  • Suitable to paint iron or concrete even on  hot surfaces, it is not requiring  a long stand-still of any active hot installation (up to 540C)
  • It hardens by direct contact with the air, and is finally hardened when heated to 200°C.

Applications:

  • Useful as anticorrosive Paint for iron metals especially in hot conditions such as active heat emitting systems.
  • Painting metal walls and surfaces in steel melting plants.
  • Painting large heat deflectors.
  • and Painting hot liquid cooling systems for water, oil, etc.
  • Steam chimneys and piping for transporting hot liquids.

Technical data:

  • Theoretical coverage area: 7 sqm, per 1 liter paint
  • Actual painted layer thickness: 35 microns
  • Flexibility: 2 mm (SHEEN).
  • Density of mixture base with the zinc : 9-2,1 gr/cm3
  • Mixture viscosity: 2-4sec (HAAKE).
  • Hardness: > 3 Dg (Ericksen).
  • Recommended layer thickness 75 microns dry or total of 135 microns wet.
  • Recommended number of layers: one layer 135 microns thickness or 2 thin layers of 70 microns for vertical surfaces (to avoid paint leak).
  • % solids: 56% solids in volume and 75% solids by weight.

Mixing and application:

  • Do not mix the products with materials which were not recommended by us.
  • Part B (the Zinc) is to be added slowly (to avoid granules & lumps) to part A, while mixing carefully in a clean container.
  • Zinc tends to oxidize, when exposed to the air or humidity to form granules and lumps. Such lumps should be removed before painting by sieving the mixture through a proper mesh.
  • Continue the mixing while painting, don’t stop the mixing to avoid lumps

Quality control:

  • In factory laboratories according to specifications.
  • COA and COC certificate.
  • ISO 9001-2015

Safety precautions:

  • Inedible, keep away from the reach of children.
  • Flammable – keep distant from heated areas, fires, flames, and sparks, prohibit smoking in working area.
  • While applying, good air ventilation is important. In case there is not enough air, use ventilation according to the ventilation table.
  • Wear protective glasses, gloves and suits.
  • Avoid direct contact of the paint and/or thinner with the eyes and skin. In case of contact, immediately wash thoroughly with water.
  • In case of an injury immediately get doctors assistance.
  • Read the safety instructions on the labels.
  • See M.S.D.S
