High build, white, primer & top coat for galvanized steel. A single component primer paint, Based on unique acrylic solvents co-polymers, with white zinc phosphate pigment and white oxide magnesium. Provide excellent adhesion for galvanized steel, Does not affected from the repulsiveness of the zinc that made between the galvanization and other paints.

Technical data:

  • Theoretical surface coverage- 1 liter/15-20 m2.
  • Demanded thickness surface coverage- 1 liter/8-10 m2.
  • Recommended number of layers – 2,
  • Layer thickness: 125 microns.
  • Flexibility- 1 mm (Sheen).
  • Viscosity- 2-2.5 Sec (Hakke).
  • Density- 1-1.4 gr/cm3.
  • Hardness- over 10 Dg (Erichsen).

Touch-Dry:

  • 20 minutes (Avoid spraying with Over spray). (If formed dust Retarder must be added).

Dry Between Layers:

  • 1-4 hours, Final: 2-6 hours.

Implementing Method:

  • Brush, Spray, roller

Dilution:

  • Brush/roller – 5-10% Mineral Turpentine or thinner D-18.
  • Spray-.15-20% D-18 Thinner, 3-4 pressure.
  • Airless- 5% D-18, 4-5 pressure, nozzle 0.015″.

Surface preparation:

  • New galvanization- gently polishing for removal of top zinc salt, and cleaning with Degreezer M for removal of dirt, grease, dust.
  • Old galvanization- rough polishing in rusty areas for removal of all rust and gentle polish for the rest for removal of top zinc salt, and cleaning with Degreezer M for removal of dirt, grease, dust.

Packing:

  • 5, 1, 2.5, 5 and 18 liters.

Storage:

  • Store in well shaded place, room temp.

Shelf Life:

  • 12 months in original package.

Tools Cleaning:

  • At the end of the application with D-18 Thinner or Mineral turpentine.

  • In factory laboratories according to specifications.
  • COA and COC certificate.

Safety precautions:

  • Inedible, keep away from the reach of children.
  • Flammable – keep distant from heated areas, fires, flames, and sparks, Prohibit smoking in working area.
  • While applying, good air ventilation is important. In case there is not enough air, use ventilation according to the ventilation table.
  • Wear protective glasses, gloves and suits.
  • Avoid direct contact of the paint and/or thinner with the eyes and skin. In case of contact, immediately wash thoroughly with water.
  • In case of an injury immediately get doctors assistance.
